The Challenge

Coastal salt air exposure accelerating travertine pitting, efflorescence deposits, and organic algae growth in unfilled stone voids.

The Solution

We performed a high-pressure alkaline deep extraction wash to strip out biological growth. Open travertine holes were filled with custom color-matched resins, followed by a double infusion of solvent-based active penetrating sealer for marine-grade protection.
